New York Westchester Square Medical Center is a community hospital serving the Bronx community since 1929 in patient care services which was designed to offer the best in modern medical and nursing care in a comfortable and attractive environment. The hospital offers services ranging from Cardiac Care specialty units to laser surgery in a friendly and caring atmosphere. Our out-patient surgical unit enables patients to undergo a multitude of procedures and return to their families the same day. The staff of over 1,000 qualified doctors, nurses, social workers, technicians and other healthcare professionals provide over 50,000 patients with the finest medical services annually.

The new inpatient facility, completed in 1981, was designed to offer the best in modern medical and nursing care in a comfortable and attractive environment. We will be undergoing renovation of our Emergency Room and Radiology department to further enhance our capabilities. For our patient’s and family’s convenience we will also be constructing a large parking facility.

New York Westchester Square Medical Center makes every effort to provide comprehensive medical care in a manner which ensures that the quality of all services offered meet or exceed current standards of practice. We understand that good patient care requires kindness and consideration in addition to competency and skill.
